About Dr Reid
Kym is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
She obtained her fellowship in 2009 and subsequently undertook subspecialty training to receive her Certificate of Gynaecological Oncology in March 2012. In April 2012 she was inducted as a member into the Australian Society of Gynaecologic Oncologists.
Her training has included experience in complex pelvic surgery: both benign and malignant, advanced laparoscopic procedures, and the management of patients with multiple co-morbidities. She has been involved in the training of registrars and has a keen interest in teaching and research.
She currently holds public appointments at Box Hill Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. She employs a multidisciplinary approach to complex cases and has a focus on the psychosocial and wholistic care of the woman with gynaecological malignancies.
Kym has a special interest in:

- Colposcopy and Laser Treatment of Cervical Dysplasia
